Cooking pork chops has always been more than just making great food—it’s a family tradition. Growing up, I grilled alongside my stepdad, brothers, and grandpa, carrying on a legacy passed down through generations. We weren’t running a business; we were bringing people together through the Sons of the American Legion, raising funds for families in need—helping with medical bills and emergencies.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, I returned home with a mission. My grandpa envisioned a community-focused farmer’s market, and he asked me to sell pork chops there. I set up a simple tent and grill—no formal business name—until everyone started calling me "The Pork Chop Guy". That nickname stuck, and it marked the beginning of something special.
Today, The Pork Chop Guys has evolved into a full-fledged food truck and catering business. We still serve free meals to veterans and first responders and work with charities and community organizations to raise funds for those in need. Whether at festivals, corporate events, or local fundraisers, our mission remains the same: to unite our community with great food.
With our charcoal grill food truck, we’re keeping the tradition alive—one perfectly grilled pork chop at a time.
